Like actors in a Shakespearean drama, ACT Party leaders continue to draw attention to themselves by their seemingly never-ending outbursts, intrigues and character assassinations.

 

And Dr Brash’s suggestion that marijuana be legalised has gone down like a lead bullet with his key associate, former Police Minister John Banks.

 

As the NZ Herald’s Brian Rudman says, the good Doctor seems to have forgotten there’s an election in less than two months — and his party’s survival depends on law-and-order fundamentalist John Banks winning the conservative stronghold of Epsom.
