Alan Tristram points out that Justice Minister Kiri Allan may have been badly treated on a key issue — the future of Ruapehu Alfine Lifts.

Fact: The entire mountain area was originally gifted to our Nation by the local iwi Tuwharetoa. Last Monday it emerged at the last moment that Tuwharetoa wanted to bid for the skifield.

But no one bothered to tell Kiri Allan.

Apparently, the Ministry of Business, Innovation, and Employment failed to tell her.

Surely the Minister could be excused for losing her cool with government servants in this stand-out case.
