Police Seek Man Who Snatched Bank Cash
March 12, 2010
The security guard was taking the money from the Te Rauparaha Arena in Porirua for banking.
A lone male — who has been identified as Perry Ngawaka Bristow — walked up behind her and snatched the bag.
He then went to a stolen motor vehicle driven by two associates.
They drove to Titahi Bay, Porirua, but police located the vehicle and the two men. The men were arrested and charged with offences relating to the stealing of the vehicle
The other man police are seeking, Perry Bristow, is a Pacific Islander, 25 years of age, 180cm tall and of medium build (see photograph). Police say he should not be approached by members of the public.
No one was hurt in the robbery and no weapons were used — but the female security guard was said to be “shaken” by the incident. Anyone who has information on the whereabouts of Bristow is asked to contact the Police.
