Penny Gaylor, Kapiti’s sitting representative on the Greater Wellington Regional Council, has kept her seat in the local body elections.

She fought off a strong challenge from Neil Mackay, who has a raft of impressive credentials, including work as chair of Electra Ltd, CE of Industry NZ, and chair of the Kapiti Aquatic Centre Trust.
