Teachers still not paid properly despite Minister Joyce’s ministrations
A Principals’ Federation survey of principals has shown Novopay is still struggling to deliver accuracy with teachers’ pay..
Two-thirds of schools, or 66.3 per cent, still had unresolved problems from last year, president Phil Harding said recently.
The minister responsible for Novopay, Steven Joyce, last month celebrated Novopay improvements and a drop in complaints compared to a year ago.
However, the survey found an average of 5.89 staff per school had been paid incorrectly in the latest pay period.
