My first solo exhibition is on the wall! Daniel Reeve
A multi-talented artist
Daniel has been a painter and calligrapher for many years, but this is his first exhibition.
The dominant piece in a variety of works, is a large acrylic painting entitled Taniwha,
which is featured alongside.
The exhibition is on now at the Kapiti Gallery, 192 Matai Road, Raumati Beach, until March 19.
The hours are 10.00am to 4.00pm, except Mondays and Tuesdays.
Plenty of variety
Two groups that Daniel belongs to, Calligraphers of Kapiti and Mana Arts Society, have promoted the twenty
piece exhibition, and people who have already viewed it are very impressed.
Despite being an established artist all these years, I’ve never had a solo exhibition – until now.
This is a mix of old and new work, and includes paintings, calligraphy and movie paraphernalia – the famous Middle-earth map and prop replicas from The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, and The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.
