“You could see the tyre mark on him where he went straight over him,” the woman says.

The man is due to appear in court on the 12th May where he is facing a number of driving charges, one of which includes driving while on a suspended license.
New Zealand Police have said the matter is now before the courts and therefore they cannot comment further on the issue.
