4 large cooking apples, cored
1 tbs. clear honey
75 gms. dried figs, chopped
1 tbs. lemon juice
4 tbs. apple juice
Make a shallow cut around the middle of each apple.
Gently heat honey, figs and apple juice, stirring, in a small pan.
Use to fill apple cavities, pressing down firmly.
Place in oven proof dish and pour the apple juice over.
Bake in pre-heated oven, 180 C for 45-55 minutes until soft.
Serve hot with low-fat yogurt.
