Artists dress trees for winter

Look at the trees outside Kapiti Gallery, Matai Road,……………
Kapiti Gallery has shown great passion and understanding…………..Just looking at the trees will make you feel warmer, and if you wish to hug a tree do it now. The trees have been dressed in an amazing array of colourful woolly artworks.
This display though, is just an introduction to lure you in to Kapiti Gallery`s current exhibition by The Kapiti Arts and Crafts society.
The exhibits just glow with warmth and colour and you`ll have no excuse for feeling cold. You can buy almost anything you could think of, to help keep these icy winds at bay.
Approximately forty knitters, spinners, weavers and felters have put on an amazing display of winter woollies that will make you feel thoroughly cosy and snug.
There are beautiful felted hats and scarves, knitted shawls, throws, colourful sweaters and cardigans.
Perfect for presents, there are cuddly teddies, fairies, bags, rugs and wall hangings.
So put on your coat, hat, gloves and boots and go and see the stunning array of designer clothing, felting, knitting and weaving, all for sale at very reasonable prices.
It`s enough to warm the cockles of your heart.
The exhibition closes on Sunday 27th June.
