Cheer Yourself Up With The Village People

The American Library of Congress just said it’s fun to stay at the YMCA with the Village People (seen below) for, well, all of eternity.

The 1978 gay disco anthem by the Village People has been added to its National Recording Registry.

The registry honours tracks and albums that are more than 10 years old that the institution considers “culturally, historically or aesthetically significant”.
