Editor Alan Tristram worked alongside, or in the gutter, with tabloid journalists in London for many years.
And he says Harry and Meghan get it about right in their Netflix series.

The ‘popular’ press in Britain have virtually no ethics — and most stories bear only a passing resemblance to the truth,’ he says.
‘I recall one ex-Express journalist I worked with at Independent Television News.
I asked him how he managed to get someone to quote on a major story.
“Oh, he said,’ I just make up the quote myself and attribute it to Mr John Bloggs of a road in north London.
“This road has more than a thousand homes in it. And no-one is going to be able to knock on all their doors to check me out!”
I’ll tell you more in future articles.
Meanwhile, I’d put more trust in Harry and Meghan than the tabloid rabble.’
