Birgit Moffatt at Tutere

Regular get togethers

By Kate Hartmann

Every month we host an artists’ get together here in the gallery. (Second Friday of the month at 10:30 am)  Next session – Friday 10 August.

This is a relaxed way for you to come together, get out of your studios, have a chat and coffee and connect with your fellow artists.

Occasionally we arrange for artists to speak to us about their work, which gives fantastic insights into their work. It is also a great opportunity for them to practice speaking about their art practice in front of a supportive audience.

The talented Birgit Moffatt

This time round we are very fortunate to hear from Birgit Moffatt whose exhibition “In-visible Threads”  was on recently at the Goethe Insititut in Wellington.

She has agreed to speak to us about these pieces and her inspiration for them: a childhood lived beside the Berlin Wall.

So you are all invited to come along and enjoy this presentation with us.

RSVP would be appreciated this time round so we can ensure we have enough seats.

Cheers,

Kate
