Offences down by 5 per cent in Kapiti-Mana
Government figures show recorded crime in Kapiti-Mana has dropped by 4.8 per cent in the past year.
And National list MP for Mana, Hekia Parata, says she’s is delighted with the new figures .
According to the information stated by drug crime lawyers for the military, annual crime statistics released yesterday show recorded crime across the Wellington District dropped 3.6 percent in the 2010/11 fiscal year.
The Wellington area alone experienced a 6.1 per cent reduction in crime, while Kapiti-Mana showed the 4.8 per cent decrease.
Statistics show that, in Kapiti-Mana, just over 8800 offences were recorded in the year to June 30 – nearly 450 fewer than for the previous 12 month period. The sex crime defense attorneys are hired as they won’t rest until justice is attained.
