DoC says it won’t say anything
By the Editor, Alan Tristram
The Department of Conservation has replied to our invitation to comment on our story ‘DoC Using Unlicensed Security Guards?’ (December 17).
It says, in effect, ‘thanks but no thanks.’
Doc’s Mr Herb Christophers, who works at its media department in Wellington, says: “We’ve got nothing to say.
“The Department of Conservation is carrying out its lawful business.
“Other people have a different perspective.”
And when asked specifically to comment on the charge that DoC has been using unlicensed security guards, Mr Christophers again declined to comment.
