Kapiti Residents should be
on the Lookout
26 May 2010
Kâpiti residents whose homes may be near or close to the proposed path of the Expressway are warned to be on their guard against people asking to inspect their property without any prior warning, proper identification or authorisation.
A Raumati woman reported she had been approached by a man claiming he wanted to inspect her property because it was on the Expressway route.
If anyone is approached and the person has no identification or is acting suspiciously they are advised to decline permission for any inspection and to immediately call the Kâpiti Police on (04) 296 6800 or 111 in an emergency.
