Did you see a man slashing car tyres outside the Paraparaumu Library

Kapiti Police are appealing to the public for information about an incident in which a man slashed the tyres of a car parked outside the Paraparaumu Library.

Police say: “About 2:30pm on Wednesday outside the Paraparaumu Library on Iver Trask Place, Paraparaumu, there was a verbal altercation between two men after damage to a vehicle parked near by.”

Constable Joshua Smith says police are seeking information from anyone who witnessed this incident, in which car tyres were slashed.

He says: “If you saw this incident or have any information please contact me at the Kapiti Police on (04) 2966800.”
