In the Footsteps of the Marines puts money back into the Kapiti community.

This years run/walk was well supported by participants from the Coast and further afield and has enabled the Kapiti Joggers and Walkers to donate more than $2200 to local groups and charities.

$1000 is going to Youth Quest Kapiti, and other groups who will benefit are

~ Kapiti Running & Tri Club.

For the event The Joggers and Walkers made use of the Wellington Free Ambulance and they have received $550.

Feedback from the event has been very positive including comments from Kate Watterson who features in our photo of the week.
