Sun going down at 6 o’clock
With no daylight saving, the sun rises early in Queensland and then sets when New Zealanders are still on the beach, playing tennis and gardening. (Scroll down to March 16 for an article on the early start.)
However, one of the wonders of being at a Noosa resort which faces west, is to watch the beautiful sunsets.
Sipping wine on the deck as as the sun goes down and the clouds change colour, is a delightful and relaxing experience.
Sally Ashley was recently on holiday with friends in Noosa and took these photographs from Culgoa Point.
