Wikipedia says in some countries flying a flag upside-down is conventional protocol to indicate an emergency or problem, or to indicate a state of war.
However, the KCDCV said today: ‘It was a simple mistake, when staff were informed they corrected it immediately’.

We noticed the flag yesterday also. Did not know if this was done for a significant reason or a huge mistake.
