The Kāpiti Coast CEO Wayne Maxwell will leave in two months.
Mr Maxwell has been heading the council since the previous CEO Pat Daugherty moved to
Nelson City in 2017.
Mr Maxwell had previously been a senior staffer at the KCDC.
Last year he was on leave after a heart attack.
