BREAKFAST IS THE MOST IMPORTANT MEAL

Here`s how to make it healthy and enjoyable………………

Marvellously Healthy Meusli
Ingredients

400g     Porridge oats

100g     Raw brown sugar

100g     Wheatgerm

75g       Dessicated coconut

100g     Chopped mixed nuts

50g       Sunflower seeds

25g       Sesame seeds

150ml   Water

150ml   Oil

Half tsp Vanilla essence

Half tsp Salt
Method

Combine first 7 ingredients in a large bowl.

Whisk together water, oil, vanilla and salt.

Mix well.

Spread over the base of a large, shallow roasting tin.

Bake in oven at 190C for 20-25 mins. turning occasionally until crisp and golden.

Leave to cool.

Store in an airtight container.

Makes 1kg.

Serve with fresh chopped fruit, lemon juice, (see previous recipe), and yoghurt.

Absolutely delicious!………and a great start to the day.
