We are delighted with the emerging art work … Whareroa Guardians legend, Ann Evans
Transformation!
Story by Roger Childs, photos by Maureen Farmer
It’s destined to become the most photographed icon on the Kapiti Coast!
Many locals will remember it in a earlier life as a dilapidated eye sore near the Whareroa Farm shelter: it had NATIONAL PROVIDENT FUND written on it in fading letters.
It has now been totally transformed thanks to the hard work of the Guardians at the Hub site and the artistic skills of Julie Oliver. She will finish the job in August-September.
It will be officially opened on Sunday (June 3) at 10.30am.
ALL WELCOME.
And close by in the forest you can see the amazing kohekohe trees in flower straight from the trunk!
